Little head and nearly no lace. Dark brown color where light shines through the center easily.
Dark toast is the initial smell I get. I also detect just a touch of earthiness.
Dark toast and bittering hop are the predominant flavors to this beer. Very middle-of-the-road brown ale here. Good hop bitterness for the aftertaste.
