Draft at the brewery
Nice creamy frothy semi dense head with good retention and great sticky lacing, semi hazy deep golden tan color
Nose pretty nice Tripel, sweet grainy blond malts with candi sugar and caramelized sugars, mild perfumey alcohol and fruity esters, pome fruit, light peppery phenols
Taste more of the same, fair sweet malts, caramelized sugars and Belgian candi sugar, medium sweetness with perfumey warming alcohol and hinting at fusel but not quite there, medium grassy herbal hops, bitterness is a little aggressive, nice fruity esters pome fruit, light phenol,
Mouth is med to richer bod, medium carb, light warming alcohol
Overall not bad, malts and yeast are nice, hops get a bit too aggressive, and alcohol starts to hint at fusel but otherwise good
