Served in Salzburg in 0.3 L stein. Pours grainy amber. Pleasant light hop / yeast aroma. Vegetable flavor, possibly turnip? Some malt and yeast flavor.

Had on tap in Salzburg, Austria. Poured into a tall weiss glass.
L: Pours a cloudy dark mahogany color with thick off-white head.
S: Toasted grains and malts. Mild spices like cloves and nutmeg.
T/F: Tastes like a cross between a dunkel and a zwickl.... just like the name suggests. Nice backbone of toasted malts with a little extra complexity. Moderately carbonated.
O: Interesting combo style beer and very tasty. Favors the dunkel and hit the spot on a hot day in Austria.
