A lovely dark golden colour with a beige sticky head .
I poured it a bit too cold and lost quite a lot of flavour. Plenty of hop bitterness, maybe a bit overboard ?. Body is nice and plump.
The artwork is excellent! I

Draft: Poured a clear brown color ale with a medium size off-white foamy head. Aroma of grainy malt based with very little residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of grainy caramelized malt with a dry finish with light earthy bitterness. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not a big fan of his one with too much grainy malt notes.

A:
Pours a semi-hazy ruddy brown with a fluffy, medium-sized tan head that slowly drops. Decent retention; sticky webs of lace . (3.75)
S:
Toasty malts slight bright hop accent. Toasted grains, molasses, bitter citrus oil, tea. (3.75)
T:
Follows the nose. Thick malt sweetness that verges on tarry caramel with the hops making it a touch medicinal as well. (3.75)
M:
Thinnish with enough carbonation to feel a little puffy, slight hop/molasses linger, very drinkable. (3.75)
O:
This is a tasty brown.
It is not as rich as I like, but I'm starting to realize not many are. It is drinkable, relatively substantial and generally enjoyable. Toasty malts with some medicinal hops. By the end it tastes like hop tea and charred malt sugar (not in a bad way, but not a good way either). All-told, this is pretty nice, especially considering the ABV. It could definitely use a little extra oomph, regardless. (3.5)
