"Infamous Black Ball" quote from an old french QC quiz TV show with the great Paul Houde! Capped bottle: Opaque black color. Creamy and frothy brown 4 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with strong legs and a decent swirl. Flavors of pineapples, orange, chocolate, coffee, dark grains and berries, light wood and oysters, with herbal hops. Silky medium body with a moderate crisp. Strong strength finish, leafy and tropical with a chalky dark grainy feel. A bit roasted and dry, soft Rauch effect. The freshness is decent, yet the texture is quickly dull and thin like a Porter, this is good for a stout but not an IPA. Makes a really balanced sensation, but not as well regarding the flavors. Overall good quality craft.
