American style cream ale with S&D Coffee French Roast coffee beans and vanilla. Light bodied and crisp golden and refreshing, this is one of our lightest beers and is an ale version of an American pilsner using classic noble hops.

Was given a 16 oz can from a friend at the community poker game 8/23/21. Canned 5-24-21; consumed 11-8-21.
Beer poured dirty blonde with a very nice white head.
Nose is nice, a combination of coffee and vanilla are nicely integrated with the malt base.
Taste is very nice up front with a subtle touch of vanilla and coffee over a medium malt base finishing with a lack of something on the backend. Not cloying or sweet in the finish.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and refreshing.
Overall this is nicely done, would have again.

I tried a can of this beer whilst at my bestie's member guest golf outing. It poured a clear golden with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle coffee and vanilla notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with vanilla base and coffee highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Coffee flavor, but a really weird aftertaste like you mixed vanilla, baby powder, and Sprite.

A: Pours a clear pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall fizzy foamy bright white head that reduces to a medium sized patch of thin film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of freshly roasted light to medium roast coffee and light to moderate aromas of vanilla. Light aromas of grainy + pale malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light flavors of grainy + pale malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by just shy of moderate flavors of freshly roasted light to medium roast coffee. Finally there is a light flavor of vanilla towards the finish. No perceptible hop presence and there is a very light lingering coffee flavor with a hint of bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a really nice coffee + vanilla flavor on a light bodied beer. Enjoyable and very easy to drink. I could easily have a couple of these.

From a can at the Burning Can Festival (NC). Revisited on tap at the 2019 NCBMF.
Brown-blonde body with a decent head.
Strong coffee aroma with more vanilla joining the coffee in the flavor.
Overall: Excellent use of coffee in a lighter beer.
