The Oath

The Oath is an imperial stout brewed with roasted barley, cacao nibs, Peruvian and Nicaraguan french roast coffee, and aged on Madagascar vanilla beans. Aromas of black coffee and roasted malts dominate with 9% ABV stout. Flavors of dark chocolate, espresso, tiramisu and vanilla cream make this very dark ale decadent and rich. We used roasted barley from our friends at Carolina Malt House, and fair trade coffee from Equal Exchange.
