Tuned Up Brewing Co. "Scottish Ale"

Look: Black body with deep mahogany highlights - although that's hard to be sure of given the limited light within the tasting room. Creamy khaki head. Decent head retention and lacing.
Smell: Smoky, roasty, hint of dark sugar.
Taste: The flavor follows. It's very smooth and balanced with everything pulled together around a moderate bitterness. Some mild leafy/grassy hops appear in the finish.
Feel: Medium bodyied with a smooth, moderate carbonation.
Overall: Really quite nice. A good take on the style. Satisfying and highly drinkable.
