Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a hazy burnt yellow almost orange color with a sly crisp white foamy head. Subtle lace. The aroma had some white pepper, floral qualities, light grassiness and then a soft wheaty malt. The flavor balances between the spice of the white pepper to the soft semi-sweet wheaty malt. Sly sweet wheaty to spicy aftertaste. No finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt as brewer projected. Overall, nice Belgian IPA worthy of having again.
