The appearance was a stiff pale rusty yellow color with a cap of a little white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Lace, not much there, just speckled for a little bit and then slid off super quick.
The aroma had the sweet and the tart raspberry up front playing with some sweet wheat and then light grassy tones.
The flavor was moderately sweet through the blend of the raspberry and the wheat. Grassy hop tones only for balancing purposes but pretty lenient. Gentle raspberry sweet to tart with the wheat in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, despite the name, this is an American pale wheat ale as there really wasn't any Belgian yeastiness I normally associate with a normal witbier. Still, nothing against the brewer, I'd still have this again as it's a nice APWA with a nice level of authentic raspberry to it.
