Presentation: Draft, served in a Rastal Craft Master Grand.
Appearance: One finger, white head that dissolves into a thick foam layer that stays until the end and leaves some good lacing. It has a cloudy golden color.
Smell: The smell is citrus but leaning more towards the cleaner/soap side of things rather than fruit. That's the only aroma that comes through so the nose has no redeeming qualities.
Taste: Unfortunately, the taste mirrors the scent. There's a citrus character that overpowers everything else but it's more soap-like thank fruit-like.
Mouthfeel: Light, goes down smooth with medium-high carbonation.
Overall: There's no other way to put it: This is not a good beer and it definitely needs some work either in the ingredients (hops, water) if the taste was on purpose or in the brewing process (equipment cleaning, long fermentation period) if it's a flaw that somehow cleared QC. The soapy scent and taste just ruin the experience.
