Copper Wax:
This beer rested in Litchfield Distillery maple bourbon barrels for 12 months. Double mashed with traditional English Maris Otter Malt and boiled for 6 hours, this beer has huge notes of caramel, toffee, bourbon and maple.

This one pours a darkish golden amber color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like bittersweet maple, toffee, dark fruit, bourbon, oak, chocolate, and caramel.
This is a really solid barleywine that was completely unknown to me prior. The barrel character is really nice, with a nice rich but not too sweet maple character, and lots of bourbon otherwise. There's also oak, a touch of vanilla, caramel, some light chocolate, and a definite fruity character that works pleasantly here.
This is medium bodied, and not all that boozy, with a nice drinkability for the style.
This was a very nice surprise for me. There's a lot of great barrel on this one.
