Smaller, bar/tasting room, with windows that look out onto the street and internally into the brewing area...they also have an outdoor area available during nice weather. Out door area is actually across the road, fenced in by another industrial kinda building.

Friendly and knowledgeable fella behind the sticks. About 10 of their beers on tap, for tastes, full pours, growler fills. Also many of the same beers available to go in cans and few cans also available for on site consumption...fine beers, welcoming atmosphere...well worth a visit if in the area...

Apparently I never got around to reviewing Matt Steinberg's brewery. Been frequenting this brewery ever since the Grand Opening every time I'm in the area. Easy parking, though downtown Framingham can be a pain depending on the time of day, quite spacious inside with a large picture window to show the brew tanks and such. They also opened a 'beer garden' out back for outdoor drinking though I have not seen it yet.

Bar tenders typically can answer various questions about a beer and are attentive. Not sure about tours any more. I believe they have a food truck outside every weekend though I am normally there in the early afternoon hours before this would be. In years past they opened up the brewery to show New England Patriot games on a large projector screen. They also seem to have started doing random movie nights and live bands.

Matt Steinberg's beers are always well executed, true to style representations. His kolsch is about as good as it gets and served in it's appropriate glasswar. I want to say there's typically 10 beers on tap and there are plenty of can options to go plus the occasional bottle release. Definitely worth hitting up.

Went in on a Sunday Afternoon to buy my Sunday Paper. Quickly served. All my questions about the beers were answered. Bought some others on the way out. Will have to try the pretzels next time.

I only went into Exhibit 'A' to buy some beer-to-go, but I thought the brewery was a very nice space. Located on a very small street off a major road in Framingham, Exhibit 'A' does not seem to have much parking, but that is because of its pretty intimate atmosphere.

When you enter, you see a long table bench in front and then a small bar area with a few chairs. That seemed to be it with the space, but the facility was not too packed and patrons seemed to enjoy the intimate atmosphere. You can also easily see the entire brewery in action from a very large glass window in the space.

Like I said, I went there for beer-to-go. Some beer cans were sold out, but they had a few beers on tap (maybe with some of the sold out ones] along with some sodas and pretzels. The workers there were incredibly nice and helpful to me. One worker even complimented my band t-shirt and said they played the band I was wearing sometimes.

Wish I could have stayed longer; it seemed locals really enjoyed this small, intimate brewery. Definitely check the space out for their good beers and small, intimate atmosphere.

The old Jack's Abby spot is alive and kicking. Glad I was able to stop over there on Sat. Anyway - what a lineup of brews. Had to try Hair Raiser, which was fantastic. Great taste from start to finish. The taproom only a handful of people in it, which was great. It was a great day outside and they had a function going on in the brewing area. I also tried the Demo Tape 12 (aka IPA), with High Oil Cascade Hops. Delicious!
Anyway - I highly recommend people stop here first before going out to eat. Or better yet bring your own food or catch one of the days that they have a food truck on hand. On this day Big T's was on hand, excellent Pulled Pork Sandwich.

Overall a pretty simple tap room but the beers are great and they let you buy single beers in addition to 4 packs. We stopped here on the way to Jack's Abby (this location is actually the old location of Jack's Abby). I'd give the nod to Jack's Abby as a much better tap room but Exhibit A gets the nod for better beers.

Never got around to reviewing this place, so decided to get it done since I'm here. Steinberg's new "experiment" and by that I mean a new means to provide some incredible beers to the general public, and now he has a lot more say in what goes on, and a lot more freedom. I mean, who makes a Koslch these days, and especially does it well?!

The front bar area is pretty nice, the bartenders are all awesome, friendly, make some fun jokes, very knowledgeable and helpful for both beer geeks and newbies. It's usually very clean thankfully. Light background music and lots of beer geeks usually there. Weekends often have events, from oyster shuck truck, to fresh coffee roasters, to other food style vendors, and sometimes big screen movies inside the brewery. Matt is always happy to give tours, and he loves to just talk about everything going on with the brewery, not just shoving the public through as fast as possible like some other breweries do.

The beer ranges from good to incredible. Their base beers are great, the cat's meow, porter, etc. The kolsch is the best kolsch outside of Europe I think. THe Sunday Morning Paper is one of the smoothest big stouts I've ever had, and is just incredible. I can't get enough of it. I also like their experimental beers (demo tape series), the ones that do well become regulars.

Anytime I'm in the area I stop in. Often when I'm limited on time I go here and skip the Jack's Abby/SPringdale facility. However, whenever there is time, def do both places as they are like a mile from each other. The only knock I have for this place is the location, trying to get through Framingham on a busy day is never fun.

This is the old Jacks Abby spot, which doesn't have the vibe of the new bigger place down the street. Still, a nice taproom with a good view of the brewery floor. Quality is fantastic, as they don't have the volume and crowds yet. Staff is talkative and friendly with plenty of beer and industry knowledge/experience. And for being about four months old, 8+ taps and 6+ can offerings is as good as it gets. Great new brewery and a must-visit!
