Appearance: Arrives a hazy amber with a modest head; a few strands of lace
Smell: Bready, with coffee and lactose aromatics
Taste: Bread and caramel tones underpin the coffee and cream flavors that build; very sweet, particularly in the aftertaste, but there is a countervailing bitterness that keeps things in check
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A bit of a mind bender as I was expecting a dark beer; not sure I would drink this regularly due to the sweetness but certainly worth a try for the creativity
