A: This poured a translucent mahogany with quickly dissipating light tan head.
S: It smelled like toasted coconut and nougat, with some vanilla and rum raisin and nutty toffee.
T: It tasted like honey wheat and raisin bread and nougat, with some vanilla and toasted coconut and nutty toffee. It had a clean and sweet aftertaste with some alcohol warming.
M: It was oily with some carbonation. Nice slick body.
D: This was a great bourbon quad with rich and well balanced scent and taste. The body was good, and the finish was smooth but hot, so it was better to sip. Would age well. Fresh is still quite enjoyable.

The beer pours a fairly light and creamy head that has a bit of a slight brownish hue to it but comes off more as a dirty white. The beer itself has a very nice clear and brown color with a solidity to it that is pretty nice and definitely appealing.

The smell is pretty good. It has a nice complex mixture that work well with each other very well. The smell has a nice mix of coconut, caramel, and a light toast note to it is complemented by a fruity, slightly bitter hop note to it

The taste is really good. The taste is fairly sweet with nice white raisin sweetness. The coconut is still there lingering in the finish but it isn't as present as the other notes. The bourbon is there to give a slight ryness but is largely covered by the caramel notes and Beglian sugariness.

The feel is good. It's a heavy bodied beer with a decent heft and syrupness to it but it has a bit of thinness from the barrel aging. The carbonation is pretty soft and tingling.

Overall, this is a pretty good beer and worth getting and definitely one of the better barrel-aged quads in VA.
