Canned 05/16/18
Appearance - Pours clear and bright yellow in color with a white, rocky two-finger width head. Fair retention results in a thin, broken layer of suds with a razor thin ring encircling the edge of the glass. Tiny spots and a few small streaks make up the lace.
Smell - Buttered bread, faint coconut. Not picking much pineapple, if any.
Taste - Sweet and slightly bready with a bit of buttery diacetyl, while light notes of fresh coconut and very mild pineapple come in by mid-taste. The little flavor that's here fades quickly, leaving only traces of the aforementioned flavors.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with low-to-fair amount of tingly carbonation. Lightly creamy texture, like cool whip, that drinks easy with a clean finish.
Overall - What little flavor there is, is nice, but not much to really hang your hat on here. Drinks easy enough, I suppose. Not a bad brew on a hot summer day, but I could think of better.
