This one was a VERY deep red beer with a big foamy head. Very promising.
The aroma was of rich malt and was quite nutty. Still looking very good.
The taste was of lightly roasted malt, followed by some bitter hops, and a coffee finish. Overall, however, the bitterness was rather low. It all came in one short burst.
Good mouthfeel for a brown ale, good body. Highly drinkable.
