On-tap at Vetter Brauhaus, Heidelberg, Germany
A: The beer is crystal clear yellowish amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short off white head.
S: Light aromas of toasted malts and spicy hops are present in the taste.
T: The taste has flavors of toasted and other nondescript malts along with a faint amount of associated sweetness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This maibock doesn’t seem to have as much hops compared to other beers in the style. While rather malty, it wasn’t overly sweet or heavy on the palate.
Serving type: on-tap

Deep cherry wood color, clean and bright. One finger of a decent beige head.
Definitely malty at the nose, with caramel notes, an fruit in syrup.
Pleaasant in the mouth, almost chewy, with the same notes of the smell.
Yet, not too heavy or boring.
Full body, strong maltiness, but in the right mode.
Well balanced.
