Small to medium sized taproom in downtown Lee's Summit. Fun vibe with some great music. The beers I had were all pretty good with a wide variety of styles. The food was a let down. It looked cheap and re-heated frozen stuff. Maybe the pizza was better than my pretzel.

This is a fairly typical local brewpub that features a fairly diverse mix of home brewed and national brews. The facility is fairly cozy with a large bar and a row of booths. They serve some decent pizza and the staff seems friendly and effective. Televisions play sports.
There is also a store selling home brew materials and equipment that shares the premises but seems to operate separately.

Bar is fairly generic, with a long wooden bar offering up about half the seating in the place. A row of booths offerings up seating for groups of up to 4. Still, it feels cozy, with ample space for a dance floor or such, although the night life has never gotten that lively here during any of my visits. TVs behind the bar show sports and act as the tap list. There is a home brew store that shares the rear of the space, but doesn't share the same hours as the bar. Staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful upon my visit. Tap list was fairly robust and diverse, although centered slightly on stouts. My visit was during the winter time. A quick check now shows a continually diversified tap list that splits its focus between local beer from the Kansas City area and regional/national craft beer.

Grains & Taps sells beer making supplies and has a taproom of 24 taps.
My rating based on the taproom and not the beer supply side of the business.
