Big barn/shed with some picnic tables and a long bar. Went on a Friday night and the place was packed with lots of people sitting outside with the food trucks. They were hosting artists (including belly dancers) as part of an Art Walk, so neat stuff to look at. You can see the tanks and the size of the place, I'm impressed they are pumping out so much beer from a small operation.
All the beers were well made. There's a house yeast flavor, and maybe a fairly consistent malt profile that gave a theme to all the beers. It gave a little bit of a "these all taste the same", but each one had some character. The portfolio does lean towards malt, with their Double IPA tasting less hoppy than their IPA, but I got a wide ranging flight and had no trouble finishing each glass. Everything was well made, no flaws noted even in the Blonde.
Service was a bit slow, but they were slammed, and once I got service it was knowledgeable and friendly.
Selection was pretty good. A few duplicate styles (IPAs), but they had a common, a Saison, a really good lager, and some interesting herbs, honey, and fruit additions.
Overall, a well done brewery! Recommend a quick jump off the highway if you are traveling through.

This brewery hosted a beer festival in Salado, TX this past weekend. Had my first beer of the festival in their taproom. It was open and inviting and the service was great. Very friendly clientele. Good beers. Looking forward to going back!

Brewery with a tasting room in Salado Texas. 15 Barrel brewhouse in the back of the building with the tasting room in the front. German fest tables arrayed around the floor with a couple of pallets of grain in the back. Family, dog friendly (even a tap plumbed for water with a dog bowl outside). Beer is sold by the pint, in growlers, or even by the keg across the bar. This brewery doesn't currently have any guest beers as of July 2016, but has just installed another keg dispenser to bring their tap count up to 10 taps. Beer is great, served at ~38 degrees Fahrenheit in shaker pint glasses. Service is solid, with most sales happening at the bar. 4 main beers (IPA, Blond, Stout, and Wit) with frequent one-offs and seasonals (coconut stout, ginger rye strong ale, and an American Lager).
