Appearance - Pours slightly hazy and burnt orange in color with an off-white, half finger head that doesn't hang around long, resulting in a mostly barren surface and a razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. Sparse lacing in the form of a few tiny spots.
Smell - The aroma is dank and citrusy, with hints of honey and a touch of wheat.
Taste - Follows the nose. Pine dank and grapefruit rind upfront and throughout, though a touch of honey sweetness does a great job at adding balance while complimenting the bitter hop flavor. Lightly toasted malt and caramel. Hits on some yeasty, juicy orange notes as it approaches the finish, leaving a more balanced finish than what we're hit with at first sip.
Mouthfeel - Near full-bodied with low-to-moderate carbonation. Slick, almost silky texture with an easy, mostly dry finish.
Overall - Not what I expected at all, but boy is it unique and tasty. While they call this a West Coast / NE-Style hybrid, it definitely leans toward the West Coast style with only a touch of some NE-style yeasty juiciness. Overall, not a bad choice as your initial canned offering, Claimstake. Now can we get Ain't Gettin' Any Younger in cans? Pretty please??

Fresh growler from the brewery. Hazy amber color with an awesome tropical aroma that smacks you right in the face. Front end is a smooth NE style IPA juice bomb, nice citra and not overly bitter. Finish is a bit off, maybe too much yeast? With a little tweaking this could be awesome top to bottom. Overall, really good brew!

The beer comes in a medium amber color with medium plus haze.
The aroma smack of Citra, orange, mango, overripe fruit, with some herbaceous.
The flavor follows with that punch of Citra, mango and tangerine, juicy orange, soft mouthfeel, biscuity malt, onto some grassiness and light earthiness on the finish.
