This is for the 2019 version...I believe there is a slight difference in the hop bill from the 2018 version: Sweet tropical hoppiness on the nose! Taste follows with smooth hoppiness, dankness, and tropical notes. Not too boozy or syrupy as some TIPAs are. Impressed with the nice sweet smooth finish on this TIPA! Good job Claimstake!
For the 2022 version: Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly malty, hint of stonefruit, and hint of piney-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a hoppy, citrus, and piney bitter finish. This is actually better than I was expecting! It is pretty smooth and tasty and hides the ABV pretty well. I mean, it is everything you want in a triple westie. Pretty good!

Had on-tap@ Final Gravity in Roseville, CA
Appearance - Served up in a 11.5oz snifter, slightly hazy and golden orange in color with a thin, white head sitting atop. Good amount of lacing found around the glass consisting of broken sheeting, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Pine, cattiness and a bit of citrus make up the bulk of the hop aroma, with lesser candied orange and a hint of toasted malt.
Taste - Follows the nose. Plenty of hop character upfront; orange, grapefruit, pineapple, pine and a bit of spice. Juicy orange. Hints of toasted malt and caramel malt sweetness. Pithy grapefruit on the finish balanced by a bit of that toasted malt, and it lingers nicely in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Full-bodied with bitey carbonation. Thick, but velvety smooth and stupid easy drinker at 10%.
Overall - Hell of a triple IPA. Hell, might be the best I've had to date. Hops hit hard, but it's also incredible in it's ease of drink. The name makes me wonder if there's a subtle jab at Pliny the Younger and the hours of waiting in line that accompanies it, hehe.
