Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served to the brim in a pint glass, crystal clear and purely golden in color. Thin, broken layer of suds. Leaves a nice amount of lacing, with broken webbing and spotting.
Smell - Dank, oily aroma with lesser grapefruit and a slightly toasty undertone.
Taste - The flavor brings more grapefruit taste with lesser pine character. Moderate toasted malt backbone. The finish is all grapefruit, with prominent white grapefruit pith bitterness dominating the finish. Love it.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with slightly bitey carbonation. Smooth Crisp, mostly dry finish.
Overall - Tasty beer that really opens up as it warms. Grapefruit fans, get it while you can. It's awesome.
