Appearance - Pours hazy and dull orange in color with an off-white, quarter finger width head. Sub-par retention results in a mostly barren surface.
Smell - Fair aroma that hits on pineapple, citrus and some green, leafy character.
Taste - Follows the nose. Juicy, mild pineapple flavor with lesser orange and bitter stonefruit pit nut character. Mild leaf. Finish is fairly bitter with orange pith and some grassy
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with lightly bitey carbonation. Slick going down with a mostly dry finish.
Overall - One of the better session IPA's I've ever had. Packs a powerful flavor punch at just 4.7%. 300 pounds of pineapples were used during the brewing process, and it totally paid off.
