From the 03/25/18 2nd Anniversary can release
Appearance - Pours mostly opaque and rustic orange in color with an off-white, near finger width head. Not much retention time before peeling back to a mostly barren surface with a few small islands of suds and a fair ring around the edge of the glass. A few broken lines and small spotting make up the lacing.
Smell - Says dank on the can and they weren't lying. Huge herbaceous dank aroma with lesser orange, pineapple and guava juiciness sitting beneath.
Taste - Follows the nose. Huge dank punch upfront and it dominates through to the finish and into the aftertaste; pine and herbal upfront with a bit of spice in the finish. Hints of orange and grapefruit come in mid-taste, along with a bit of peach and stonefruit pit nuttiness. Finish adds a hint of tropical mango, guava and pineapple before the dankness assumes complete command again in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - On the heavier side of medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick texture quickly gives way to a dry finish.
Overall - Way too dank for my tastes, and especially not what I look for in hazy brews. I'll drink the other can, or I might trade it if I can find something of interest.
