Cheers from Matt Foley!
Appearance - Pours clear and golden yellow with a white, finger width head. Sub-par retention results in a thin, broken layer of suds with a ring encircling the edge. A few small spots make up the mostly lacking lace.
Smell - Mostly a floral and citrusy aroma, with lesser tropical notes and a hint of dank and apricot.
Taste - Light floral and slightly apple-ish esters upfront, then some citrus kicks in as the hoppiness builds. Fair apricot/peach and distant pine. Touch of pineapple and mango as it rounds toward the finish, and that (the finish) is a beautiful blend of the aforementioned fruitiness, culminating to a 'fruit punch' like harmonious aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, slightly velvety texture with a crisp, easy and slightly dry finish.
Overall - Wonderful brew. Doesn't impress at first but the build-up is nothing short of marvelous. Balanced, clean and easy drinker. I don't think I've never given a 5 in Overall before. This deserves it.
