Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a standard pint, crystal clear and golden yellow in color with a thin, broken layer of suds stretching across the surface.
Smell - Sweet bready cereal malts with a hint of citrus and floral hop character.
Taste - Follows the nose. Initial clean, sweet cereal malt bill with hints of citrus and floral hop coming in quickly thereafter. Mostly sweet finish with lesser hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a refreshingly crisp and slightly dry finish.
Overall - Damn good blonde. Pretty much everything you expect in a blonde and nothing that shouldn't be. Great to drink on a hot day like this.
