Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, hazy and faded orange-ish yellow with a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface
Smell - Juicy, citrusy aroma with lesser pineapple and distant pine.
Taste - Light citrus, pineapple and underlying earthy dank character. Not much else. Quick to the finish, lingering with light pith and continuing dank. 3.5
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair, bitey carbonation. Turns dry and slightly watery in the finish.
Overall - Good, drinkable brew but like most regular session IPAs I've had, this hazy session tastes incomplete and lacks interesting flavor development. Its a decent drinker, but nothing I'd order again. Session IPAs can go away and never come back.
