Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, hazy and mellowed orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds. Strong lacing with a ring of broken webbing encircling the top and breaking down into broken lines and slotting as it descends toward the brew below.
Smell - Juicy, melony aroma with lesser citrus and a touch of pineapple.
Taste - Follows the nose. Melon forward with honeydew melon and cantaloupe. Hints orange, grapefruit and especially pineapple. Melon rings in the finish with a touch of dank and distant citrus pith bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with moderate carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker before a slightly dry and chalky finish.
Overall - Damn good hazy. Homebrew contest winner Kyle Hale nailed it and Claimstake made it happen.
