Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, fair haze with a thin, broken layer of suds on surface with a thin ring around the edge of the glass. 3.75
Smell - Citrus and pine primarily, with a hint of dry stonefruit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Tangerine and pine upfront and through to the finish. Stonefruit pit nuttiness emerges mid-taste and mostly dominates the aftertaste, along with a touch of citrus pith.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick drinker before a mostly dry finish.
Overall - Pretty standard West Coast IPA. Good, solid brew but nothing stands out to me or entices my palate.
