Had on-tap at Claimstake in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, hazy and golden yellow in color with a mostly barren surface and a thin ring encircling the edge of the glass. Good amount of lacing with broken webbing and small spotting.
Smell - Dank, earthy aroma with light citrus and some stonefruit pit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Earthy and dank with lesser pithy citrus bitterness. Stonefruit pit nuttiness. Faint but bright tangerine essence in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Crisp, dry and refreshing finish.
Overall - Classic tasting West Coast IPA. Really crisp and drinkable. Its not an innovative brew, but its pretty damn good.
