Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, crystal clear abd brilliant golden orange in color with a thin, broken ring of suds encircling the glass. No lacing.
Smell - Aroma is stonefruit pit, citrus, lesser pine and a hint of floral character.
Taste - Follows the nose. Orange, grapefruit, peach skin and dry pit nuttiness. Hint of earthy pine and spice near the finish. Aftertaste lingers with dwindling peach flavor, mild pith and nutty, earthy pit.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a crisp, dry finish.
Overall - Very much a classic West Coast pale. Good flavor, easy drinker. Nice drinker on a hot day.
