Had on tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, semi-hazy and yellow-orange in color with a mostly barrenĀ surface. Thin, broken ring around the edge. No lacing.
SmellĀ - Citrus and pine aroma, mostly; more grapefruit than orange. Generic breadiness beneath.
Taste - Follows the nose. Citrus that sits somewhere between orange and grapefruit before a touch of pine and pith kick in. Gentle, bready malts sit beneath. Aftertaste lingers with mild pith and pine.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with moderate carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Drinkable for sure, but doesn't really pique my interest; single hop IPAs rarely do.
