Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, hazy and dull orange in color with a thin, broken layer of sudsĀ stretching across the surface. Good amount of lacing with a ring of suds atop anf broken webbing found streaking below that.
SmellĀ - Not especially aromatic, but what's there hits on orange, pine, bread and yeast.
Taste - Citrus, lesser floral, mineral and a hint of pine spice. Kind of a vitamin C chewable flavor to it. Finish lingers with lots of orange flavor.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a silky quality to it.
Overall - Nice flavor, but its really smooth and crushable. Nothing I'd seek out, but an option if it's on the menu.
