From tasting notes 12/28/18
Had on tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, hazy and mellow yellow in color with a thin, broken layer of suds sitting atop. Good amount of lacing with some thick bands running horizontally around the glass, breaking off into lines and spotting.
Smell - Moderate aroma. Orange, grapefruit.. faint banana?
Taste - Citrusy juiciness, primarily, with a touch of stonefruit pit creeping in mid-taste before strengthening as it reaches the finish. Fair pineapple bite. Aftertaste lingers with pith and light pit nuttiness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a crisp, mostly dry finish.
Overall - Solid, good drinking hazy. Citrus heavy. Like a lot of Claimstake hazies, drinks with some west coast attributes.
