Had on tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, hazy and dirty yellow in color with a thin, broken layer of suds floating atop. Nice lacing with broken webbing and small spotting.
Smell - Strong aroma of key lime and vanilla with a touch of graham cracker character.
Taste - Follows the nose. Vanilla and key lime hit the tongue first, with mild graham cracker flavor riding beneath. Finish brings with it some lime pith and skin, making for a somewhat unpleasant bitterness in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with low carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a slightly creamy texture before turning dry in the finish.
Overall - Lime skin bitterness aside, this is a tasty beer. If they can dial that down, this would be amazing.
