Had on tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, fair haze and golden orange in color with a off-white, broken film covering the surface. Some broken lines and spotting make up the lace.
SmellĀ - Prominent citrus with notes of orange and grapefruit, light dank and slight cattiness. Hints of bready malt sweetness.
Taste - As with the nose, citrus is dominant. Orange, lesser tangerine and a hint of grapefruit. Slight spice, stonefruit and dank by mid-taste. Malts leave hints of caramel and lightly toasted bread. Finishes mostly with tangerine pith, spice with faint toastiness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Definitely not to be confused with a NE style hazy. Unfiltered WC all the way with a touch of yeasty influence.
