Had on tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a Willi pint, slight haze and golden in color with a thin, broken layer of suds. Fair lacing with broken webbing and small spots.
Smell - Citrus, stonefruit, lesser earth and a touch of dank.
Taste - Follows the nose. Peachy, citrusy flavor upfront before lesser earth and a hint of dank creep in mid-taste. Light bready malt undertone. Nice, balanced finish with lingering fruity character and a touch of pith.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Drinks easy enough before a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Tasty DIPA. Nice balance of the earth and lesser dank to keep the peachy sweetness in check. I could stand to drink several more of these.
