Had this during Sacramento Beer Week, was doing flights at that cool place with an interior outdoor garden. This was one of Steph's choices, so I just shared it with her, so forewarning, this review is only based on a few ounces.
Looked the part of a red/amber ale, same appearance and off white 1/3" head with good retention and lace. Aroma was that red malty aspect, was more lively, possibly hoppy than average, didn't have that wet earth thing going for it some of them do with the London yeast going on here.
Taste was fine. The right malt in the right amount, moderate Cascade like hopping giving it a bitter backbone to play off of. Floral grassy hoppiness and bitterness meets up with some caramel and toffee notes, but the carbonation kept it from being too heavy, sticky or whatnot. While these are almost never my jam (Loakal Red, you big exception you) this one was respectable and hit the spot we were looking for during Sac Beer week: something not too hoppy for the lady.

Had on tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up into a 5oz sampler, relatively clear and copper in color with a thin, broken layer of suds on top. Decent amount of lacing, with lots of lines and small spotting decorating the glass.
Smell - Mild, balanced aroma of toffee, earth and floral character.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mild toffee sweetness upfront before touches of earth and floral hoppiness creep in by mid-taste. Finish is a balancing act between the three distinct flavors.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a refreshing finish.
Overall - An easy drinking, euro-inspired red ale. Nothing truly outstanding, but Claimstake showing once again their versatility amongst differing styles.
