From tasting notes 6/14/19
Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, lightly hazy and golden yellow in color with a thin, consistent layer of suds and and thin ring around the edge of the glass. Fantastic lacing with broken sheeting decorating a good chunk of the glass.
Smell - Fair aroma, but picking up mostly dank with lesser citrus, and hints of tropical fruit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Light but complex, with dank character leading the charge. Hints of orange, stonefruit, mango and pineapple add some fruitiness to combat the mild dank earth.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Strangely dank for a hazy, but not unexpected from Claimstake. There's a decent amount of tropical fruitiness in there, but not enough for me to want to order this again.
