Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, hazy and hay yellow in color with a thin, broken layer of suds on top. Nice lacing with big patches, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Sweet, creamy aroma with hops that hint at earth, citrus and stonefruit pit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Sweet cream throughout while hops notes come through first with citrus, then earth and stonefruit pit nuttiness before a hint of dank in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Mostly creamy texture. Smooth. Slightly dry finish.
Overall - Strange combination of the creamy sweetness and the earthen hop notes, but it kinda, sorta works in an odd sort of way. Unique, in the least.
