Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint, crystal clear and pure gold in color. Thin, broken layer of suds on the top. Fair lacing with broken webbing, small lines and spotting.
Smell - Fruity, slightly musty and catty aroma.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fruity citrus, passionfruit, peach and papaya with lesser musty grass and a bit of cattiness. Faint bready malt undertone. Sweet, fruity finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a crisp, semi-dry finish.
Overall - Well-made brew, but Galaxy is a hop that I'm finding more and more disinterest in tasting.
