Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a Willi pint, hazy orange in color with a thin, broken layer of surface suds. A few broken lines and small spotting make up the lacing.
Smell - Fruity and slightly dank aroma. Orange, papaya and lesser pineapple.
Taste - Citrusy, slight dankness, some stonefruit and papaya. Bready malt backbone. Hint of pineapple comes through in the finish, along with a bit of grapefruit pith bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with slightly bitey carbonation. Drinks easy enough before a mostly dry finish.
Overall - Another Claimstake hazy with a distinct West Coast influence. Its good. I'd drink it again, but not one I would seek out specifically.
