Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a Willi pint, hazy and orange in color with a mostly barren surface, and a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Light lacing, with a thin, broken strand running across the top of the glass.
Smell - Fruity with hints of peach, orange, hint of peppery spice and faint grapefruit.
Taste - Fruity and spicy with peach, lesser orange and pineapple upfront. Very light breadiness. White grapefruit develops near the finish, leaving a light, pithy impression in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with some bitey carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Really, really nice hazy here. Just a great combination of flavors that balance out well in finish.
