Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a Willi pint, crystal clear and pure gold in color with a thin, broken layer of suds. Okay lacing, with some broken webbing and small spotting.
Smell - Sweet, bready aroma with lesser grain. Grass and spice from the hops.
Taste - Follows the nose. Bread and spice from the saaz upfront, then some grain comes through mid-taste. Spice follows into the finish, along with some breadiness, and a faint hint of grassiness can be found lingering in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with slightly bitey carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a crisp, dry finish.
Overall - Pretty good pilsner. Pretty decent flavor, but drinks quite nicely.
