Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a Willi pint, murky and orange in color with a near barren surface and a razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. No lacing.
Smell - Fruit forward aroma, with orange and pineapple juiciness. Hint of vanilla. Orange oil or zest as well.
Taste - Orange and pineapple forward, with just a kiss of vanilla. Light floral hop notes before a touch of pithy bitterness in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair, slightly bitey carbonation. Slick, smoith drinker before a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Not the most "milkshakey" of milkshake IPAs, but the flavor is nice and it drinks easy. This will be a go-to while its still on tap.
