Canned 04/30/20
Appearance - Cloudy and mostly pinkish in color, with a hint of orange in there; salmon. Half finger width, off-white head that fizzes away fairly quickly, leaving a mostly barren surface with a fair ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - Surprisingly tame given the flavors once tasted; hints of prune juice, salt, vanilla and milk.
Taste - Follows the nose, except in how potent the flavors are here. Starts of with mild sourness and plum/prune, then delves into a bit of salinity that escalates as it rounds to the finish. Definitely some lactic qualities that lean more toward sugary than creamy. Finish leans more towards tartness, salinity and the plum, with the milk sugar sweetness taking a backseat.
Mouthfeel - Full in body with low-to-fair carbonation. Smooth and slightly creamy before a somewhat dry, crisp finish.
Overall - One of the most unique and interesting beers I've ever had. The flavor throws you off at first, but it gets better as you get accustomed to it's odd blend of ingredients.
