Tasting notes 05/22/20
Poured from Crowler filled 05/21/20
Appearance - Pours semi-hazy and light orange in color with an off-white, finger width head. Fair retention before dying to a thin, broken layer of suds and a thin ring around the edge of the glass. A small handful of tiny spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Stonefruit forward aroma, but mild in strength. Slight pine, spice and a hint of orange.
Taste - Follows the nose. Prominent, but mild apricot upfront, with a touch of peach. Fair spice mid-taste with an underlying pine character. Finish hits with a trace of orange skin bitterness and residual aforementioned flavors.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Smooth, drinkable brew with a mostly dry finish.
Overall - Really nice WC DIPA. Unique in many ways, but still has that classic WC taste.
