Appearance - Pours black with a cocoa colored, near two-finger width head. Holds firm, eventually settling to a thick film across the surface. Strong lacing, leaving perforated sheets around the near entirety of the glass.
Smell - Creamy, roasty aroma. Earthen coffee grounds, hint of milk chocolate and a faint caramel sweetness.
Taste - Creamy mix of coffee, chocolate and a splash of caramel upfront and throughout, then adds a fair amount of roast in the finish to balance. Aftertaste lingers with roast and adds a hint of tingling dark berry.
Mouthfeel - On the fuller side of medium-bodied, with fair carbonation. Smooth and slightly creamy texture before drying out a bit in the finish.
Overall - Though I slightly prefer Revision's take, this one is in no way slouching. Coffee infusion is on-point, and adds a really nice roasted bitterness in the finish. Only one can left from my 4-pack; I may sit on it for a month or two and revisit then.
