Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a Wili pint, hazy and light orange in color, with a thin ring of suds lining the edge of the glass. No lacing, save a small spot or two.
Smell - Peachy aroma, with tart and sweet notes, along with a bot of vanilla sitting beneath.
Taste - Follows the nose.Tart and peachy punch upfront, then lesser sweetness emerges. Hints of vanilla and anise-like character find there way as it rounds into the finish. Aftertaste lingers with the tartness.
Mouthfeel - On the lighter side of medium-bodied, with tingly carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker before a semi-dry finish.
Overall - Really nice sour, and a really nice twist on their Sweet Emily peach IPA. I definitely like this more than the former.
